Students from the Emergency and Disaster Management Program at Serinhisar Vocational School met with Murat Başlı, Head of the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department, as part of their Career Planning course. The event covered fire safety, the firefighting profession, and disaster response processes.
Murat Başlı shared his professional experiences with the students, emphasizing the importance of physical endurance, teamwork, psychological competence, and continuous training in firefighting. He stated that students should focus on practical training and enhance their professional skills during the career planning process.
The event concluded after students' questions were answered. Students expressed that hearing information based on field experience in fire safety and firefighting directly from an expert in the field was very beneficial for them.
