The Emergency and Disaster Management Program, under the Department of Management and Organization, commenced operations with its first students in the 2019-2020 academic year.

The Emergency and Disaster Management Program is the first program to be launched at Serinhisar Vocational School.

As of the 2019-2020 academic year, the program included compulsory and elective courses in addition to summer internships. From the 2022-2023 academic year onwards, a transition was made to the 3+1 Education Model, comprising 3 semesters of coursework and 1 semester of internship.

The Emergency and Disaster Management Program at Serinhisar Vocational School is the first school of its kind to adopt the 3+1 Education Model.
