Pamukkale University, Acıpayam Vocational School, Department of Veterinary, under the Laboratory and Veterinary Health Program, admitted its first students on October 8, 2013, and graduated its first cohort on June 25, 2015. In addition to theoretical and practical courses, the Course on Professional Training in the Workplace (İşletmede Mesleki Eğitim – İME) has been incorporated into the curriculum starting from the fall semester of the 2022–2023 academic year. Furthermore, effective from the fall semester of the 2024–2025 academic year, the curriculum was updated in line with the associate degree program criteria of the Vocational Education Evaluation and Accreditation Association (MEDEK) and the recommendations of the advisory board.
Our department trains qualified individuals who possess the necessary knowledge and skills in areas related to veterinary medicine, are capable of adapting to innovations, and are prepared to work in private enterprises as well as public institutions and organizations.
