TÜBİTAK 2209 Student Projects Informational Meeting Held at Our Faculty

An informational meeting on the TÜBİTAK 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program was held at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. The event, which took place at the Şehit Bekir Can KEREK Conference Hall, was attended by academic staff and numerous students.

The meeting commenced with an opening speech by Emre Şerif TURGUT, who provided information on the objectives, scope, and opportunities offered by the TÜBİTAK 2209-A program, emphasizing the importance of promoting research culture at the undergraduate level.

Dr. Asiye KAMBER KIVCI, a faculty member from the Department of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations, delivered a presentation on research design and project application procedures. Drawing on examples from a previously conducted project, Dr. KIVCI shared key considerations for preparing a successful application with participants.

In the final session, Mine KILIÇ and Çağla GEÇİCİ, students whose TÜBİTAK 2209-A projects were approved, shared their experiences. The students discussed the challenges they encountered during the project preparation process and the outcomes they achieved, offering recommendations to prospective applicants.

The meeting concluded with a question-and-answer session and aimed to enhance students' engagement with scientific research culture and strengthen awareness of TÜBİTAK support programs.
