CLOTHING PRODUCTION (GARMENT) TECHNOLOGY

AIM

The aim of the Clothing Production Technology Program is to educate qualified personnel with general textile and apparel knowledge who will work in intermediate level to serve the Textile and Garment sector.

ENTRY CONDITIONS

Students who have enough points in the University Entrance Exam or who have passed the exam without qualifying exam are entitled to start the associate degree program of the department.

It is determined by ÖSYM in accordance with the relevant legislation of YÖK.

EDUCATION TIME

Clothing Production Technology Program is a technical program that gives knowledge about general textile and apparel. Students are required to do an internship for 36 working days in the training period approved by their advisors.

The language of education is Turkish.

Student graduates by completing the program with 120 ECTS credits.

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL TRANSFERS

The student moves internally and externally in accordance with the relevant regulations of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).

CERTIFICATION

a) The graduating student is given an associate degree diploma in the Clothing Production Technology Program.

b) When the student is graduated, the courses and modules showing the qualifications gained during the training period are indicated in the annex (transcript) of the diploma.

c) When the student leaves the program, a certificate showing the qualifications, courses and modules gained during the training is given. Professional competencies gained in the program are evaluated in career development, certificate programs and, when requested, in transfer to all other programs.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Level 5 academic and professional qualifications related to knowledge, skills, comprehension, practice, analysis, synthesis, creativity and evaluation are given.

EMPLOYMENT AREAS

Students who graduated from the Clothing Production Technology Program in line with the qualifications they gain are employed in the goods/service producing companies or the public institutions and organizations in the textile and clothing sector.
