Sarayköy Gazi Middle School hosted a talk titled “Digital Addiction and Physical Functions” as part of the TÜBİTAK Science Talks series for middle school students. The talk, held at the Sarayköy Cultural Center, was attended by Sarayköy District Governor Dr. İsmail Pendik, Sarayköy Vocational School Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Koray Şarkaya, District Director of National Education Bülent Akhan, and distinguished members of the protocol. It was delivered by Dr. Atiye Kaş Özdemir, a faculty member at our Vocational School. Information was provided to students regarding internet usage, screen time, and their impact on physical functions, thereby raising awareness. Our School’s Vocational School Secretary Esin Özbaş and our physical therapy instructors joined our students at the event. The discussion drew significant interest from both teachers and students. We congratulate Lecturer Dr. Atiye Kaş Özdemir on the discussion and thank Gazi Middle School and the District Directorate of National Education for organizing this program.
