Updated Date: 21 May 2026

Students Connect with History and Nature

As the Sarayköy Vocational School (MYO) Sociocultural Activities Club, we organized an enjoyable sociocultural trip to Babadağ with a group of students from the Physical Therapy and Alternative Energy Sources programs, led by Instructor Dr. Atiye Kaş Özdemir and School Secretary Esin Özbaş.

The event began with Babadağ Mayor Murat Kumral and Cultural and Social Affairs Officer Betül Gezgin welcoming the students at Babadağ Square and serving them breakfast. The students explored the streets of Babadağ, famous for their walls adorned with kaneviçe patterns and for preserving their historical character.

Visit to the Cultural Center and Historic Streets

The students visited the Babadağ Cultural Center to learn about local culture. The traditional architecture and historic buildings along the streets drew great interest from the students.

Nature Hike and Picnic Fun

Following a trip to Yardan Waterfall, a nature hike was conducted from Yardan Creek to Karaçöplen. During the hike, the students enjoyed quality time immersed in nature. While picnicking, they played group games and had fun jumping rope.

Message of Thanks

The students and school officials of the Sarayköy MYO Sociocultural Activities Club expressed their gratitude to Babadağ Mayor Murat Kumral and the municipal staff for their unwavering support in making the event possible.
