As part of a cultural field trip organized by the Sarayköy Vocational School (MYO) Sociocultural Activities Club, students from the Physical Therapy and Alternative Energy Sources programs visited Buldan. The trip was led by Lecturer Dr. Atiye Kaş Özdemir and School Secretary Esin Özbaş.
The Buldan program began with a welcome from Nurcan Uğur Tosun, a staff member of the Sarayköy MYO Student Affairs Office, Buldan Mayor Mehmet Ali Orpak, and Buldan Municipality Information Technology Director Ertuğrul Gazi Mustak. The group of students first visited the Buldan Municipality Handicrafts and Culture Center (Former Prison and Government House / Belkum). There, the students learned about Buldan’s deep-rooted weaving tradition and had the opportunity to closely examine the looms.
As part of the program, the group toured the historic and colorful streets and marketplace of Buldan. The students spent an enjoyable day observing the town’s cultural fabric firsthand.
The Sarayköy Vocational School Sociocultural Activities Club expressed their gratitude to Buldan Mayor Mehmet Ali Orpak and IT Director Ertuğrul Gazi Mustak for their contributions to making the event possible.
