Applications are now open for the 4th Memory of Water Short Film Competition, organized by the Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration (İSKİ).
This year’s competition is held under the theme “Equitable Access to Water, Social Equality – Renewal Through Water: The Cycle of Hope.” It aims to emphasize the vital importance of water for human life and the natural environment, while raising public awareness of the protection of water resources and basins through the expressive power of cinema.
The competition is open to Turkish and international students enrolled in associate, undergraduate, master’s or doctoral programs at universities in Türkiye, as well as students who graduated in 2026. Applications may be submitted individually or as a team. Films must be between 1 and 20 minutes, excluding the credits.

Award ceremony: 26 November 2026
Cinema support packages valued between TRY 50,000 and TRY 120,000 will be presented to the award-winning films.
