Our Vocational School started education in the 2000-2001 academic year, affiliated with Pamukkale University. It serves with 20 classrooms, 3 computer laboratories, 2 multi-purpose halls and 1 library on a closed area of 7583 m2. It continues its education and training activities with a total of 46 academic staff  including 1 Professor, 3 Associate Professors, 5 Dr. Faculty Members, 4 Dr. lecturers and 33 teaching assistants.As of the 2023-2024 academic year, our Departments and Programs;

HONAZ (CENTER OF INDUSTRY)

First, let's start with Honaz. Honaz is a charming town, named after Honaz Mountain, which is referred to as the roof of the Aegean Region, backed by the national park with cascading springs adorned with thousands of colors of green, growing the best cherries in the world, and whose atmosphere is blended with the hospitality of the Turkish people. Organized Industrial Zone, where thousands of employees work in hundreds of factories in Denizli Province, which is also an industrial city, is also located in Honaz District. While our students receive their theoretical training in the clean air at the foot of Honaz Mountain, they also have the opportunity to do an internship at workplaces during their second year within the scope of 3+1 Vocational Training in Business and to find a job after graduating from our college.

TRANSPORTATION AND ACCOMMODATION

Honaz is the closest district to Denizli. With the newly opened road, the campus and city center is only 14 kilometers and 20 minutes away. From another route, it is 24 kilometers. There are minibus services until 24.00 at night.

In Honaz, there are dormitories for boys and girls with a capacity of 480 people, as well as apartments and rental houses, affiliated with the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The student dormitory is within walking distance of our school.

In Public Relations and Promotion programs, our students receive vocational training (VET) in the workplace in businesses for 1 semester (3+1) in addition to 3 semesters of courses.

The Penitentiary and Security Services Program will provide a 20-day internship in the fall and spring semesters. The Penitentiary and Security Services Program admitted its first students in the 2022-2023 academic year.

            Some of the workplace vocational training and internship programs also include employment guarantee.

EDUCATION TRAINING AND QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

We are increasing the quality of our education and training every day. A significant portion of our academic staff has private sector experience. Additionally, in February 2011, we became one of the few colleges that received the ISO-9001:2008 Quality Management System certificate. Accreditation activities continue within the scope of our University's Quality Assurance System.

EDUCATION OPPORTUNITY ABROAD

With the ERASMUS Program, agreements have been made with universities in some European countries so that our students with high knowledge of foreign languages can complete one semester of their education and training in vocational schools of European Union member countries. Our willing students who have this feature can still benefit from this opportunity.

LIBRARY AND INTERNET

Apart from our central library at the university, there is also a library at our college. There are hundreds of books on different fields in our library. The internet can be accessed from our 3 separate computer laboratories and the internet access center. There is also wireless internet access within the school.

SOCIAL EVENTS

We try to offer our students opportunities to spend their free time and develop themselves through activities such as theater, poetry recitals, concerts, conferences and panels, exhibitions and career days throughout the year. Our students are provided with opportunities for activities such as music, sports, painting, theater and folk dances, according to their abilities and demands. Our students also have the opportunity to benefit from the Honaz Indoor Sports Hall and the sports facilities at our school and engage in sports activities such as table tennis, step, basketball and volleyball. Our school is represented in events inside and outside the university with the basketball, volleyball, football and folk dance teams we formed within our school. In addition to all this, we try to provide all kinds of opportunities for our students with more special talents to demonstrate these talents. The indoor swimming pool of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality is within walking distance of our students.

LIFELONG LEARNING COURSES

As a result of our joint work with the Honaz Public Education Directorate, we also open dozens of courses for our students, such as Computerized Accounting, English, Sign Language, Computer Operator, Eloquent Speech and Diction, Theatre, Archery, Music, etc.

With the activities listed above, we aim to increase social activities and develop your skills throughout the year.

CAREER DAYS

With the Career Days we organized for the 10th time; We bring together the leading industrialists and career experts of Denizli and Turkey with our students and enable them to explain the expectations of the business world from their graduates. Within the scope of Career Days, we provide training and conferences to our students on CV Preparation, Job Interview and Interview Techniques, Personal Development and Career Planning. Alumni sessions attended by our graduate students are among the sessions that our students are most interested in, and we bring together our graduates who have graduated from our school and are successful in business life with our students.
