Vocational Education in Business Administration (VEA): A Vocational education program involves the theoretical education of students in higher education institutions, and skill training is provided through practical education applications conducted either within the business itself or in training units established by businesses.
Vocational Education Program: It refers to higher education diploma programs that are conducted at the associate or undergraduate level, determined at specific intervals by the Higher Education Board, taking into account the country's top policy documents and development needs, related to a profession, and in accordance with the national development policies.
Vocational education in the business is essential during the academic periods. Vocational education in the business starts in the education and instructional periods determined by the higher education institution's academic calendar and concludes at the end of this period. However, depending on the nature of the program and the suitability of business conditions, vocational education in the business can also be conducted during the summer term.
It is mandatory to determine ECTS credits for vocational education in the business. ECTS credits are added to the curriculum of the program or department and included in the calculation of students' graduation credits.
The total credits calculated for the courses within the scope of vocational education in the business cannot be less than 15 ECTS credits and cannot exceed 30 ECTS credits. The internship practice in medical programs is evaluated as 60 ECTS credits.
Committees or subcommittees evaluate students undergoing vocational education in the business based on the business evaluation form, practical education file, and predetermined achievements.
The assessment grade of the student within the scope of vocational education in the business is recorded in the system as a course grade. At the same time, this assessment grade is included in the evaluations of academic achievement grades.
Students who fail in the assessment can repeat their vocational education in the same or different businesses.
VEA: It denotes the Vocational Education in Business Administration course included in the curriculum of associate and undergraduate diploma programs at Pamukkale University.
The VEA course aims to enable the student to gain a close understanding of the business related to their field, learn about the organizational structure, responsibilities, relationships, and discipline of the business, reinforce the knowledge and skills acquired during the education process, acquire new knowledge and skills, and develop the ability to work in harmony with other personnel in the working environment by learning and utilizing industry practices.
In the VEA course, one week is considered as five working days, and one working day is evaluated as eight hours.
The VEA course begins on the first day when the relevant term's classes start according to the Academic Calendar and ends on the last day when the classes conclude.
COMMISSION FOR PRACTICAL TRAININGS' DUTIES AND AUTHORITY
In programs or departments where practical education is conducted within the faculty, vocational school, or vocational high school, a Commission responsible for planning, implementing, and coordinating practical education activities is established.
The Commission conducts measurement and evaluation processes of the gains acquired at the end of vocational education or internship in the business or may establish subcommittees, including the responsible academic staff, to carry out these processes.
ACADEMIC DEPARTMENT COORDINATOR
Academic Department Manager: At Pamukkale University, the Vocational Education in Business course is conducted in the vocational school where the Director is in charge, and in the faculty, the Dean is in charge.
Academic Department Coordinator: The academic staff member who coordinates the implementation of this course in the academic department where the Vocational Education in Business course is conducted at Pamukkale University.
The Academic Department Coordinator is appointed for a three-year term from among the faculty members or instructors by the relevant Academic Department Manager. The Academic Department Coordinator whose term expires may be reappointed. In the event of the departure of the Academic Department Coordinator, a new appointment is made in the same manner.
The Academic Department Coordinator is accountable to the Academic Department Manager.
The Academic Department Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination of the implementation of the VEA course in the relevant academic department.
In academic departments where a single diploma program is conducted, the Academic Department Coordinator also serves as the Academic Subdepartment Coordinator.
The duties and responsibilities of the Academic Department Coordinator are as follows:
a) Overseeing the implementation of the VEA course in accordance with the Pamukkale University Vocational Education in Business Administration, generating solutions to arising issues, and reporting unresolved problems to the Academic Department Commission or Academic Department Manager.
b) Attending meetings related to VEA as a representative of the academic department.
c) Chairing the Academic Department Commission.
ç) Ensuring coordination between the relevant academic department and businesses.
d) Conducting all authorizations in the academic department through the system.
ACADEMIC SUBDEPARTMENT COORDINATOR
Academic Subdepartment: The department/branch/program where the Vocational Education in Business course is effectively conducted at Pamukkale University.
Academic Subdepartment Coordinator: The academic staff member who coordinates the implementation of this course in the academic subdepartment where the Vocational Education in Business course is effectively conducted at Pamukkale University.
The Academic Subdepartment Coordinator is appointed for a three-year term from among the faculty members or instructors by the relevant Department Chair. The Academic Subdepartment Coordinator whose term expires may be reappointed. In the event of the departure of the Academic Subdepartment Coordinator, a new appointment is made in the same manner.
The Academic Subdepartment Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination of the implementation of the VEA course in the relevant academic subdepartment.
The Academic Subdepartment Coordinator is a member of the Academic Department Commission.
The duties and responsibilities of the Academic Subdepartment Coordinator are as follows:
a) Overseeing the implementation of the VEA course in accordance with the Pamukkale University Vocational Education in Business Regulations, generating solutions to arising issues, and reporting unresolved problems to the academic department coordinator.
b) Chairing the Academic Subdepartment Commission.
c) Ensuring coordination between the relevant academic subdepartment and businesses.
ACADEMIC DEPARTMENT COMMISSION
Academic Department: The vocational school and the faculty where the Vocational Education in Business course is conducted at Pamukkale University.
Academic Department Commission: The commission that coordinates the implementation of the Vocational Education in Business course in the academic departments where it is conducted at Pamukkale University.
The Academic Department Commission consists of the Academic Department Coordinator as the chair and the Academic Subdepartment Coordinators.
The Academic Department Commission meets at least twice every semester, one of which is before the commencement of classes.
In academic departments where a single diploma program is conducted, it also functions as the Academic Subdepartment Commission.
The duties of the Academic Department Commission are as follows:
a) Coordinating the implementation of the course in the relevant academic department in accordance with the Pamukkale University Vocational Education in Business Regulations.
b) Ensuring coordination among the Academic Subdepartment Commissions.
c) Providing solutions to problems that cannot be resolved by the Academic Subdepartment Commissions.
ç) Planning the insurance procedures for students who will undergo VEA.
d) Collaborating with relevant parties regarding the procurement of businesses for the VEA protocol.
e) Monitoring the VEA process conducted in the relevant academic department and taking necessary precautions.
f) Organizing surveys, interviews, and applications related to VEA when deemed necessary.
ACADEMIC SUBDEPARTMENT COMMISSION
Academic Subdepartment Commission: The commission that coordinates the implementation of the Vocational Education in Business Administration course in the academic subdepartment where it is effectively conducted at Pamukkale University.
The Academic Subdepartment Commission, chaired by the Academic Subdepartment Coordinator and consisting of at least three instructors appointed by the relevant Department Chair for a three-year term.
The Academic Subdepartment Commission meets at least twice every semester, one of which is before the commencement of classes.
The duties of the Academic Subdepartment Commission are as follows:
a) Coordinating the implementation of the VEA course in the academic subdepartment in accordance with the Pamukkale University Vocational Education in Business Administration Regulations.
b) Ensuring coordination among instructors teaching the VEA course in the academic subdepartment.
c) Deciding on the suitability of businesses for VEA.
ç) Evaluating VEA applications and announcing the results.
d) Planning the number of students in opened VEA branches and distributing students to branches.
e) Making decisions on requests from students to change businesses and determining the evaluation method.
f) Defining the scope of daily, weekly, and monthly work activities that students will prepare during VEA, determining the content of activity reports, and announcing them to students.
g) Maintaining communication with the businesses where VEA is conducted.
ğ) Concluding the VEA course for students when necessary.
h) Resolving any issues and problems related to VEA. Reporting unresolved issues not defined in the Pamukkale University Vocational Education in Business Administration Regulations to the Academic Department Commission.
PROTOCOL
A protocol is established between academic departments and businesses where Vocational Education in Business Administration (VEA) will be conducted to determine quotas and define conditions.
The protocol is signed in duplicate between the Academic Department Manager on behalf of the University and the Business Manager with the authority to sign, both representing the University.
The protocol includes the VEA programs conducted, the number of students who will undergo VEA for each program, the periods in which VEA will be conducted, and the validity period of the protocol.
Either party can terminate the protocol with at least six months' notice.
The information about the businesses where VEA is conducted and the quota details specified in the protocol are uploaded to the system by the Academic Department Coordinator."
BUSINESSES ELIGIBLE FOR VEA
Business: Institutions, organizations, and enterprises belonging to the domestic or international public or private sector that have the characteristics suitable for conducting Vocational Education in Business Administration (VEA) in accordance with the educational objectives of a diploma program, producing goods or services.
Business Authority: The mid-level manager who signs the Vocational Education in Business Administration contract on behalf of the business.
Business Manager: The senior executive who signs the Vocational Education in Business Administration protocol on behalf of the business.
While VEA should primarily be conducted in businesses within the boundaries of Denizli province, it can also be conducted in other cities, depending on the facilities available.
Protocol: A document signed by the Academic Department Manager and Business Manager, explaining the quotas, conditions, and rules related to Vocational Education in Business Administration.
VEA can be conducted within the specified quotas in businesses where the protocol is signed.
If a student wishes to undergo VEA in a business where no protocol is established, they apply to the Academic Subdepartment Commission by filling out the VEA Business Suitability Form.
Business Suitability Form: A form containing general information about a business.
The commission reviews the application and decides on the suitability or rejection of the business. Approved businesses are uploaded to the system by the Academic Subdepartment Coordinator.
The responsibilities and authorities of the business where vocational education or internship is conducted within its premises are as follows:
a) Appoint a sufficient number of qualified instructional staff in the relevant field, taking into account the number of students who will undergo practical education within the premises.
b) Approve the practical training acceptance form for each student undergoing practical training within the premises.
c) Fill out the business evaluation form for each student undergoing practical training within the premises.
ç) Ensure that practical training activities take place in environments compliant with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331 dated June 20, 2012.
d) Provide occupational health and safety training to students, considering the nature of the working environment and practices within the business.
e) Pay a stipend to students undergoing vocational education and internships in accordance with the relevant provisions of Law No. 3308, as it is included in the curriculum of the registered program.
f) Report any work-related accidents that students undergoing vocational education and internships experience on the same day to the relevant authorities and the higher education institution where the student is enrolled, in accordance with the applicable regulations.
APPLICATION AND PLACEMENT PROCEDURES
The Academic Department Committee may allow a certain number of students to participate in Vocational Education in Business Administration (VEA) each semester, taking into account the number of students, faculty members, and available slots. In this case, a list of primary and alternate students who can participate in VEA is announced based on academic GPA and graduation status.
Students who wish to participate in VEA can make up to three preferences from the businesses where VEA can be conducted during the relevant semester.
The Academic Department Committee first makes placements based on the mutual preferences of students and businesses. For the remaining students, the committee considers their preferences and academic GPAs to place them in businesses.
Students who cannot be placed are given additional time to suggest a new business for VEA or make a new preference from existing slots. If a student cannot be placed by the end of the first day of the add-drop and approval period, their registration for VEA for that semester is deleted.
Placements made by the Academic Department Committee are final, and students do not have the right to appeal.
If a student cannot start the VEA course on the first day due to a late placement, they are marked as absent until the day they start the VEA course.
The student must apply through the system, be placed, and then register for the VEA course by the date specified in the academic calendar. Registering for the VEA course only during registration renewal days or add-drop and approval days is not sufficient for participating in VEA.
Students, including those who have completed all their courses except for the VEA, must pay the tuition/student contribution fee before registering for the VEA course during the semester they apply.
CONTRACT
Contract: A document signed by the student, Department Coordinator, and Business Authority within the scope of the Vocational Education in Business Administration (VEA) course.
A contract is prepared to determine the obligations of the parties between the student, the academic department, and the businesses where VEA will be conducted.
The contract is prepared in three copies and signed by the student, Department Coordinator, and Business Authority.
The contract includes the start and end dates of the VEA application, the contact information of the parties, and the student's bank account details.
INSURANCE
According to Article 25 of Law No. 3308 and the first paragraph of Article 5 (b) of Law No. 5510, work accident and occupational disease insurance, as well as health insurance, are applied to students undergoing vocational education in the business. Additionally, those students who are not responsible for support are subject to the provisions of general health insurance. Premiums to be paid under this paragraph are covered by the higher education institutions in accordance with the first paragraph of Article 87 (e) of Law No. 5510.
The University provides work accident and occupational disease insurance as well as health insurance for students participating in Vocational Education in Business Administration (VEA). If the student is not eligible for general health insurance, the University also arranges general health insurance.
Undertaking: A document containing the student's declaration required for general health insurance procedures.
During the application process, the student must submit the eligibility certificate for general health insurance obtained from e-government and the signed undertaking to the Academic Subunit Commission.
ATTENDANCE OBLIGATION
Students enrolled in Vocational Education in Business Administration (VEA) are required to work full-time in the business during the internship period.
The student may be exempt from attending the business for up to ten percent of the total duration, provided that they obtain permission from the Vocational Education Responsible and inform the Responsible Faculty Member. Students exceeding ten percent absenteeism are considered to have failed the VEA course with a grade of F2. Both authorized and unauthorized absence days are taken into account in the assessment.
REPORT, WORK ACCIDENT, AND OCCUPATIONAL DISEASE
If a student obtains a disability report, the report is accepted under the condition that the student has attended the Vocational Education in Business Administration (VEA) course for at least eighty percent of the total duration. The sum of days with a report and the days the student did not attend, whether excused or unexcused, should not exceed twenty percent of the total VEA duration; otherwise, the student is considered to have failed with a grade of F2. The student must submit the report to the Vocational Education Responsible and the Responsible Faculty Member on the day they receive the report.
In the event of a work accident during VEA, the Vocational Education Responsible conveys the student's information and the nature of the incident to the course instructor on the same day.
If a student contracts an occupational disease during VEA, they must submit the report to the Vocational Education Responsible and the Responsible Faculty Member on the day they receive the report.
CHANGE OF BUSINESS AND TERMINATION OF VEA COURSE
After starting practical education, a student may change the business based on the commission's approval.
If a student has a valid reason, they can apply in writing to the Academic Subdepartment Commission to change the business or terminate the VEA course.
The Academic Subdepartment Commission may review the student's request and provide either acceptance or rejection.
If the change request is accepted, the procedures for placement in a new business will be carried out according to the provisions of Article 12, Paragraph 2, and Articles 11, 12, and 13 of the Pamukkale University Vocational Education in Business Administration Directive without requiring a system application as stipulated in the 12th article.
If the termination request is accepted, the student is considered to have failed the VEA course with a grade of F2.
If the Academic Subdepartment Commission rejects the student's change or termination request, the student must continue the VEA process in the same business. If the student does not wish to continue the VEA process, they will be considered to have failed the course with a grade of F2.
During the business change, the time elapsed will be counted as absenteeism for the student.
Except for the closure of the business, force majeure events, and similar compelling reasons, a change of business cannot be made in the last twenty working days of the VEA process.
OPERATION REPORT
Operation Report: A report consisting of the activities carried out by the student during the Vocational Education in Business Administration (VEA) course.
The student compiles all the activities they performed during the VEA process into the operation report. After obtaining written approval from the Vocational Education Responsible, the student submits the report to the Responsible Instructor within three working days after completing the VEA process.
Students are required to document their activities in the operation report on a daily or weekly basis during their time in the business.
In the operation report, the student should focus on theoretical and/or practical knowledge gained during the VEA process, specific definitions related to the business, and processes related to production and application, rather than basic information obtained from books, journals, the internet, and similar sources.
In cases where a student completes VEA in multiple businesses, if necessary, the student must prepare a separate operation report for all businesses and submit the report to the Responsible Instructor within three working days following the last day at each respective business.
Academic units may specify additional rules for the preparation of the operation report if needed.
EVALUATION
The Vocational Education Coordinator assesses the student's compliance with the official working rules of the department, communication and collaboration skills, attendance, and performance, assigning a grade on a scale of one hundred. The Vocational Education Coordinator fills out the relevant evaluation form within three business days after the completion of the Vocational Education in Business Administration (VEA) process and submits it to the Responsible Faculty Member.
In mandatory cases where the student undergoes Vocational Education in multiple departments, the average of the grades given by Vocational Education Coordinators in all departments is determined by the Academic Department Commission in the ratios specified. This average constitutes the grade given by the Vocational Education Coordinator.
The Responsible Faculty Member evaluates the student's in-term activities, attendance, and end-of-term activity report, assigning a grade on a scale of one hundred.
The student's VEA success score is determined by taking fifty percent of the Vocational Education Coordinator's grade and fifty percent of the Responsible Faculty Member's grade.
Students with insufficient attendance receive a grade of F2, and those who fail to submit the activity report on time receive a grade of F1.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE RESPONSIBLE INSTRUCTOR
To monitor practical education activities in programs or departments, ensure coordination between the business and the institution, guide students in practical education processes, and participate in measurement and evaluation procedures, a responsible instructor is assigned for each practical education group during the education period.
The responsibilities of the Responsible Instructor are as follows:
a) Ensure the continuity of the practical education course in accordance with the provisions of the Pamukkale University Vocational Education Directive by checking the activities of the students registered in their department at least once every two weeks, either on-site or through online technological tools.
b) Ensure communication and coordination between the student and the Academic Unit.
c) Coordinate between the Academic Unit and the Business during the course, together with the Vocational Education Responsible in the Business.
ç) Evaluate the student at the end of the semester, determine the success grade, and enter it into the system.
d) Fulfill other duties specified in the Pamukkale University Vocational Education Directive.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE VOCATIONAL EDUCATION COORDINATOR
The Vocational Education Coordinator is the person responsible for overseeing the vocational education of students in the business where vocational education is conducted.
Students who will undergo vocational or an internship in the business are supervised by an educational staff member with professional competence in the field, appointed by the business in consultation with the commission, during practical education.
The responsibilities of the Vocational Education Coordinator are as follows:
a) Manage the student's education in the business during the Vocational Education course.
b) Support the integration of the theoretical and practice-based knowledge and skills acquired by the student at the university with practical work in the workplace, ensure their involvement in practical tasks, and transfer professional formation and discipline to the students.
c) Prepare a daily, weekly, or monthly work and education plan for the student during the Vocational Education period.
ç) If the student will work in different departments in the business, decide on the duration of work in each unit and coordinate with the relevant unit managers.
d) Ensure communication and coordination between the student and the business.
e) Coordinate between the business and the academic unit during the Vocational Education process, together with the Responsible Instructor.
f) Review and approve the activity report prepared by the student during and at the end of the Vocational Education process.
g) Prevent the assignment of tasks to the student that do not comply with the diploma program in which the student is enrolled at the university.
ğ) Provide education to the student on occupational health and safety in accordance with the working environment of the business and prevent the assignment of tasks to the student in jobs that may pose a risk to their health and safety.
h) Monitor the student's attendance chart and inform the Responsible Instructor of the student's reported, authorized, and unauthorized absences at the end of the Vocational Education.
STUDENT RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Students engaged in practical education are subject to the relevant legislation of the higher education institution they are enrolled in and the official working rules of the business regarding leave or absenteeism during practical education. Students who act contrary to the provisions of the Regulation on Practical Education in Higher Education or the official working rules of the business are considered unsuccessful in their practical education.
Students must comply with the official working rules of the businesses and the rules related to occupational health and safety.
The Student Discipline Regulation of Higher Education Institutions is applicable to students during the Vocational Education process, except for cases defined in the Pamukkale University Vocational Education Directive.
The student is responsible for any damages caused to the business due to their own faults during the Vocational Education process.
Students voluntarily participating in Vocational Education abroad are responsible for their own insurance procedures, other responsibilities, and expenses. Other aspects related to the Vocational Education process conducted abroad are determined by the academic units in accordance with the provisions of the Pamukkale University Vocational Education Directive.
Except for situations defined in the Pamukkale University Vocational Education Directive, students cannot change the business during the Vocational Education process.
Students can benefit from the social rights defined for employees in the business to the extent deemed appropriate by the business.
Students cannot participate in night shifts and overtime work in the business. Students adapt to the daytime working hours of the business, not exceeding forty hours per week.
Student responsibilities include:
a) Applying and registering for the course through the system on the specified days in the Academic Calendar.
b) Submitting the activity report to the Responsible Instructor within three business days after completing the Vocational Education process.
c) Implementing the work plan determined by the Vocational Education Coordinator.
ç) Providing all documents requested by the business during the application stage.
d) Working in the business on all working days during the Vocational Education period.
e) Fulfilling other responsibilities.
STUDENT WAGES
The Regulation on Practical Education in Higher Education and the Pamukkale University Vocational Education Directive stipulate that students undergoing vocational education in the business will be paid a wage according to Article 25 of Law No. 3308.
In the 25th article titled "Wages and Social Security" of Law No. 3308 dated 5/6/1986 on Vocational Education, it is regulated that the wages to be paid by businesses to apprentice candidates, apprentices, and students undergoing vocational training or supplementary education will be determined by a contract to be arranged. However, for students undergoing vocational education in businesses and students undergoing internships or supplementary education in vocational and technical secondary education schools and institutions, wages cannot be paid less than 30% of the net amount of the minimum wage in workplaces with twenty or more employees, 15% in workplaces with fewer than twenty employees, and 30% of the appropriate minimum wage for apprentice candidates and apprentices. For this purpose, public institutions and organizations take the necessary measures. Internships performed by secondary education students who do their internships at school due to the inability to find a company for internship and by higher education students in institutions and units are outside the scope of this paragraph.
In accordance with the Temporary 12th Article of Law No. 3308 dated 5/6/1986 on Vocational Education; Until the end of the 2016-2017 academic year, the payments to apprentice candidates and apprentices undergoing vocational training or continuing supplementary education in accordance with the provisions of Article 18 and within the scope of the first paragraph of Article 25 cannot be less than 30% of the net amount of the minimum wage. Payments to vocational education center 12th-grade students who have achieved journeyman competency cannot be less than 50% of the minimum wage. The minimum wage that can be paid to students studying in schools and institutions outside the vocational education center program is paid as a State contribution from the amount allocated for subparagraph (h) of the third paragraph of Article 53 of Law No. 4447 dated 25/8/1999. The President is authorized to extend the period of these payments until ten academic years. Internships performed by secondary education students who do their internships at school due to the inability to find a company for an internship and by higher education students who are not required to do internships according to the curriculum are outside the scope of this paragraph. No State contribution is paid to public institutions and organizations.
According to the Temporary Article 12 of Law No. 3308 on Vocational Education, the duration of State Contribution payments for apprentice candidates, apprentices, and students undergoing vocational training, internship, or supplementary education, and the lower limits for their wages have been extended by the Presidential Decree No. 5063 dated 04.01.2022, published in the Official Gazette No. 31710 on 05/01/2022.
The attachment to the Presidential Decree No. 5063 dated 04.01.2022: Duration of State Contribution Payment ARTICLE 1- (1) Pursuant to Temporary Article 12 of Law No. 3308 on Vocational Education, the duration of the period regarding the payments to be made within the scope of the first paragraph of Article 25 of the same Law for apprentice candidates and apprentices in accordance with Article 18 of the Law, who undergo vocational training, attend internship, or supplementary education, has been extended by five academic years starting from the 2021-2022 academic year. During this period, the payments to be made to these students will be at least thirty percent of the net amount of the minimum wage for apprentice candidates and apprentices, at least fifty percent of the net amount of the minimum wage for vocational training center 12th-grade students who have gained journeyman competency, and for students studying in schools and institutions outside the vocational training center program; two-thirds for businesses with fewer than twenty employees, one-third for businesses with twenty or more employees, and the entire amount allocated for subparagraph (h) of the third paragraph of Article 53 of Law No. 4447 dated 25/8/1999 on Unemployment Insurance for students attending vocational training center programs, as a State contribution.
PRACTICAL EDUCATİON ABROAD
Students may conduct their vocational education or internship practices abroad, which are included in the course schedules, without disrupting their academic programs, subject to the approval of the commission.
Students who complete their vocational education or internship abroad submit the documents related to their practical training and the practical training file to the Commission. The assessment and evaluation processes for these practical training activities are carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Regulation on Applied Education in Higher Education.
The premiums to be paid to domestic or foreign institutions engaged in insurance activities for the insurance of students who will undergo practical training abroad are not covered by higher education institutions.
RECOGNITION OF PREVIOUS PRACTICAL EDUCATİON
The validity of the vocational education and internship practices conducted by students who transfer through horizontal and vertical transitions is evaluated by the relevant recognition commission and a decision is made.
Students who have worked or are currently working in a position related to their program of study can apply for the recognition of their previous learning within the scope of vocational education or internship, provided that they document their work periods and job titles. The relevant recognition commission reviews these applications and makes a decision. For students for whom the recognition commission has made a positive decision, only the assessment and evaluation processes are carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Regulation on Applied Education in Higher Education.
OTHER PROVISIONS
Higher education institutions determine the issues related to applied education and the forms to be used in this context in accordance with the principles of the Regulation on Applied Education in Higher Education, and they publish them on their official websites.
The rules regarding the practical training of individuals who are both inmates in open penal institutions and students at a higher education institution are determined by the relevant higher education institution, taking into account the opinion of the institution where the inmate is located.
