Education Management Audit, Planning and Economics

History

The Department of Educational Sciences was established by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) in 1982 to deliver pedagogical formation courses in Faculties of Education. The main functions of the Department of Educational Sciences are to provide undergraduate pedagogical formation courses, to organize and implement in‑service training programs for administrators and teachers in educational institutions, and to conduct scientific research in the field of education. The Department of Educational Sciences holds fundamental values such as offering an effective education service that is sensitive to the interests and wishes of our students by providing a flexible, humane, democratic and participatory atmosphere that keeps pace with the changing conditions of our time, and never compromising the essential conditions of science.

Our Department of Educational Administration started its educational activities under the name “Educational Administration, Supervision, Planning and Economics”; later this name was changed to “Educational Administration” and it continues its activities under the name of Educational Administration. Our department is a unit affiliated with the Institute of Educational Sciences of our university. Our institute was established by the Council of Ministers decision dated 04.04.2011 and numbered 2011/1595.
