PAMUKKALE UNIVERSITY QUALITY POLICY

Purpose

The Quality Policy describes the fundamental elements determined by the management, based on legal requirements and modern quality understanding, and adopted by all employees, during the structuring and maintenance of the quality management system in all units of Pamukkale University (PAU).

Policies

Pamukkale University;

a) Conducts its work in light of its mission, vision, and core values in all its quality-oriented practices.

Always prioritizes an innovative and entrepreneurial perspective.

b) Operates with a “plan, do, check, and act” quality assurance approach in all its units and management processes.

Adopts a continuous improvement approach.

c) Ensures the participation of all its stakeholders, primarily its employees and students, in its processes and

carries out activities aimed at increasing their satisfaction.

d) Conducts corporate risk management studies to ensure sustainability and continuous improvement of quality.

e) Within the modern understanding of quality, respect for people and the environment is equally important. Along with quality, environmental, occupational health and safety practices are carried out within the framework of established management standards and legislation.

f) It considers a proactive approach in decision-making processes as the foundation of its quality understanding.

g) It aims to be a nationally and internationally competitive university in all areas of its activity, through the quality of its products and services.

h) Aware that feedback and a culture of suggestions from stakeholders play a significant role in quality improvement, PAU conducts structuring and implementation studies to systematically carry out these processes.

i) By measuring key outcomes through measurement and evaluation methods, it ensures that each unit applies continuous improvement methods based on these evaluation results.

j) It designs and conducts its educational activities with innovative approaches, utilizing the requirements of quality accreditation in education, and with a student-centered approach.

k) It takes into account the opinions of internal and external stakeholders regarding the continuous improvement of education and training processes.

It evaluates these opinions in various decision-making environments and reflects them in its practices.

l) It establishes a systematic structure to ensure communication and continuous cooperation with graduates.

m) It conducts trainings and various awareness-raising activities to spread a culture of quality.

n) It establishes a self-assessment system to ensure the quality of educational programs.

Based on the results of these systematically conducted assessments, it plans and implements the necessary improvement activities.

o) It encourages accreditation efforts in educational programs.

It provides the necessary resources in accordance with the requirements of accreditation applications.

p) It systematically monitors research and development activities and their results, and their compatibility with the relevant strategic objectives and

targets it has determined.

q) It carries out activities to improve the quality of project work, to use modern technologies effectively and efficiently in applications, and to develop a culture of completing projects completely and on time.

r) Establishes and evaluates performance evaluation processes related to research and development activities, and

plans and implements necessary improvement activities based on the results.

s) Provides faculty members with equal access to research and development opportunities.

t) Systematically monitors community contribution activities and their results, ensuring their alignment with the relevant strategic objectives and

goals it has determined.

u) Ensures the alignment of activities in the relevant field with its determined Education and Training, Research and Development, Community Contribution, and Other Management Policies.
