The Computer Technologies Department's Computer Programming Program comprises a two-year education consisting of four 14-week semesters. This program includes both theoretical instruction and practical computer lab training.

Upon completion of their associate degree, students receive the title of Computer Technician. Graduates with this title primarily work as Computer Programmers in public and private institutions, banks, universities, and companies that produce and market hardware and software; in management information systems, as database administrators, and in the design and implementation of computer-aided industrial systems.

A Computer Programmer determines the necessary steps and the sequence of these steps to perform a task or solve a problem with the help of a computer. They determine the format of the information to be given to the computer and the results to be obtained from it. They prepare a workflow diagram and, according to this diagram, prepare the commands corresponding to the operations in a specific programming language. They check whether the program is working as intended.

Our graduates can also transfer to bachelor's degree programs through a vertical transfer exam.

Courses are taught by department faculty members. The Computer Programming Program has 1 Associate Professor and 3 Lecturers.
