About Department

The aim of the Tourism Management department is to provide future managers, entrepreneurs, and academics, who are in demand by the sector, with education at international standards through contemporary educational programs and practices. Working with a great team spirit, our entire academic and administrative staff provides high-quality education and training services to our students, equipping them with up-to-date knowledge and skills, and developing their analytical and objective thinking abilities, so that they can succeed in the sector and in academia.

To graduate from the Tourism Management department, students must complete at least 240 ECTS credits. Graduates of the Tourism Management department possess the qualifications to become middle and upper-level managers in the tourism sector. The vast majority of our graduates work as middle and upper-level managers in the private sector. In our faculty, where entrepreneurship is supported, our students can also establish their own businesses. Some of our graduates work as teachers in the Ministry of National Education, while others work as academics in universities.

The mission

Other objectives of the department include following and guiding the latest developments in the tourism sector, and contributing to innovations in the sector by collaborating with other national and international educational institutions and tourism stakeholders.

Department Vision
Our vision is to ensure that students graduating from our department become professionally equipped, "global citizens" with basic English and computer skills, and that they reach a point in the sector where they are satisfied with their work.
