Our faculty began its educational journey in 2011 as a school and further advanced its academic path by acquiring the title of Faculty of Applied Sciences through the Presidential Decree dated June 29, 2021. As one of the cornerstones of this well-established structure, the Department of Capital Markets commenced its activities in the Çivril district of Denizli, welcoming its first students in the fall semester of the 2013-2014 Academic Year. Growing rapidly to meet the need for qualified human resources in the evolving financial markets, our department launched its evening education program in the 2014-2015 academic year and moved to its newly constructed service building in the 2016-2017 academic year, attaining modern physical facilities.
Offering a four-year undergraduate education, the Department of Capital Markets has operated with a vision that blends theoretical knowledge with practical application, adapting to the dynamics of globalizing financial markets since its inception. With a structure continuously updated in parallel with the institutional and legal developments in Turkish capital markets, our department continues to train experts who possess ethical values, can think analytically, and will shape the future of the financial system.
