While protecting the life and culture in the historical process, our department exhibits a structure open to national and international education in accordance with today's requirements, in coordination with other professional groups;
• Competent in environmental design and protection by producing plans and implementation projects that give importance to both people's needs and environmental values,
• Have the knowledge and skills to create sustainable and ecological living spaces with high visual qualities that respect social and local needs and are based on natural, cultural and social environmental analyzes and syntheses,
• Have the knowledge and skills to provide services in the fields of landscape planning, landscape design, landscape restoration and landscape management,
• Able to produce solutions to environmental problems,
• has adopted the principle of complying with ethical values, especially environmental ethics,
• closely follows global, national, regional and local developments,
• produces alternative solutions to the problems faced by local, regional and national landscapes through research activities,
• contributing to the development of science and technology,

• Able to carry out planning and design studies within the scope of the European Landscape Convention, taking into account the balance of protection and use of natural, rural, urban, semi-urban areas, land, inland waters, marine areas and wetlands,
• Establishing relationships with professional organizations such as national (TMMOB Chamber of Landscape Architects) and international (Federation of International Landscape Architecture-IFLA) etc.,
• It considers it its duty to train qualified, talented, enterprising, and dynamic Landscape Architects who can think analytically and critically.

The Department of Landscape Architecture at Pamukkale University aspires to become a leading and innovative educational center in its field. With a comprehensive curriculum blending contemporary topics and a strong academic team, we aim to provide students with a robust foundation to become sought-after professionals in both the private and public sectors. Committed to delivering education at international standards, our department envisions producing graduates who are globally competitive, knowledgeable, and professional individuals.

• To enrich the teaching staff as quickly as possible within the given conditions,
• To increase the quantity and quality of the existing physical environments defined for students,
• To organize conferences, talks, symposiums, and other events within our institution that will support students' professional and/or personal development,
• Strengthen department-sector relations with more concrete examples,
• Secure more agreements for the Erasmus exchange program,
• Take initiatives to find new financial resources to increase the number of technical trips,
• Keep the curriculum responsive to sector needs by continuously monitoring current developments.
