📚 History of the Department

The Special Education Department of our Faculty of Education, which dates back to Denizli Girls' Teacher Training School established in 1957, was established in 2007. Our department has completed its academic staff infrastructure and the Special Education Teaching Undergraduate Program has started its educational activities with the participation of 60 students since the 2018-2019 Fall semester. In addition to the Special Education Teaching Undergraduate Program, the Department of Special Education conducts theoretical and practical courses in the field of Special Education requested by various teaching programs of the Faculty of Education to which it is affiliated and different faculties and vocational schools affiliated with our university. There are currently 4 Doctoral Lecturers and 2 Research Assistants working in our department. The language of instruction of the undergraduate program is Turkish.
