The Department of Geological Engineering consists of the divisions of General Geology, Ore Deposits–Geochemistry, Mineralogy–Petrography, and Applied Geology. All divisions are equipped with laboratories dedicated to education, training, and research activities. The department has graduated a large number of students at both undergraduate and graduate levels and continues to do so. Numerous research projects have been carried out within the department, and contributions to university–industry collaboration are provided through laboratory services and revolving fund activities. The department currently employs a total of 24 academic staff members, including 16 Professors, 5 Associate Professors, and 3 Assistant Professors.
