Department History - Mathematics Education, Pamukkale University
HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Mathematics Education, which operates under the Department of Primary Education in our Faculty of Education, has its roots in the Denizli Girls' Teacher School established in 1957. Having completed its academic staff infrastructure, the department began accepting undergraduate and graduate students in the 2009–2010 academic year and produced its first graduates in the 2012–2013 academic year. As of the 2024–2025 academic year, it continues its educational and research activities with 5 faculty members (2 Professors, 1 Associate Professor, and 2 Assistant Professors), 1 Lecturer with a PhD, and 2 Research Assistants.
