The Associate Degree Program in Public Finance is a four-semester program offered within the Department of Finance, Banking and Insurance. The program was established within Acıpayam Vocational School in the 2012–2013 Academic Year. The Public Finance Program started admitting students and actively providing education in the 2013–2014 Academic Year and has continued its educational activities since then. Since its establishment, the program has produced graduates for 11 academic terms.
Starting from the fall semester of the 2022–2023 Academic Year, a system change was implemented, and the program adopted the 3+1 education model. During the transition process, curriculum updates were carried out accordingly. The program continues to provide education under this model. The curriculum of the department has been improved in line with the recommendations of the advisory board and within the scope of the accreditation criteria of Vocational Education Evaluation and Accreditation Association (MEDEK), and improvement efforts are ongoing.
The Public Finance Program of the Department of Finance, Banking and Insurance at our Vocational School has been granted full accreditation as a result of the evaluations conducted by MEDEK. Within this framework, the accreditation of the Public Finance Program has been approved for the period from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2029.
