Our college is a higher education institution that provides four semesters of education and training aimed at training intermediate-level personnel for specific professions, in accordance with Article 3, Section I of Law No. 2547.
It was established following the protocol signed between the Council of Higher Education and the Ministry of Health on September 10, 1992, and the subsequent transformation of the Health Vocational High School into a Health Services Vocational College, as per the letter dated July 29, 1993, and numbered 13857. In the 1993-1994 academic year, the Midwifery Program was opened within the Pamukkale University Health Services Vocational College in the Ulu Çarşı building, and educational activities commenced. In accordance with the protocol, education continued in the Denizli Health Vocational High School building during the 1994-1995 academic year. Our college moved to the Rectorate building on the Kınıklı Campus on June 26, 2007, to the Morphology building on February 1, 2011, and to its own building on September 17, 2015.
In the 1996-1997 academic year, the Medical Laboratory program was opened, and in the 1998-1999 academic year, with additional quotas, the Ambulance and Emergency Care Technician, Anesthesia, and Medical Documentation and Secretarial programs were also opened. No students were admitted to the Midwifery Program from the 1997-1998 academic year onwards, and the Midwifery Program graduated its last students in the 1998-1999 academic year.
At the General Assembly meeting of Higher Education on November 15, 2007, it was decided to open Dialysis, Physical Therapy, and Hydrotherapy programs within our college. Education began in these three programs in the 2008-2009 academic year. By the decision of the Executive Board of Higher Education dated April 15, 2009, the Medical Laboratory, Medical Laboratory Techniques, and Ambulance and Emergency Care Technician programs were changed to the Paramedic program. The Hydrotherapy and Physical Therapy programs were merged under the name Physiotherapy program. It was implemented in the 2009-2010 academic year.
At the General Assembly meeting of Higher Education on May 21, 2009, the Child Development Program within Denizli Vocational School was closed, and education commenced in the 2009-2010 academic year by admitting students to Denizli Health Services Vocational School.
At the General Assembly meeting of Higher Education on April 8, 2010, the name of the Paramedic program was changed to First Aid and Emergency.
In accordance with Article 21 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547 and Article 14 of the Regulation on Academic Organization in Universities, the departments of Medical Services and Techniques, Therapy and Rehabilitation, and Child Care and Youth Services were established on May 21, 2012.
According to the decisions of the PAÜ Senate dated 10.03.2014 and numbered 02-06 a-b-c, pursuant to Article 7/d-2 of Law No. 2547, as amended by Law No. 2880, it was decided to open the Elderly Care and Oral and Dental Health programs, and to open the Medical Imaging Techniques program, with student enrollment beginning in the 2014-2015 academic year.
In accordance with Article 7/d-2 of Law No. 2547, as amended by Law No. 2880, it was decided at the Higher Education Executive Board meeting on 16.04.2014 to open the Oral and Dental Health program within the Dentistry Services Department and the Elderly Care program within the Health Care Services Department. Student enrollment in the Elderly Care Program began in the 2024-2025 academic year.
