Quality Assurance and Program Self-Evaluation Committee
Department of Contemporary Turkic Dialects and Literatures
In line with the institutional quality assurance system of Pamukkale University and in accordance with the framework defined by the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK), the Department of Contemporary Turkic Dialects and Literatures has established a Program Self-Evaluation Committee to ensure systematic monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement of its academic programs.
The Committee operates within the scope of YÖKAK’s Institutional Accreditation and Program Evaluation criteria and carries out its activities in alignment with the following core dimensions:

Quality Assurance System (leadership, governance, and quality culture)

Education and Training (program design, learning outcomes, curriculum alignment, student-centered learning)

Research and Development (academic productivity, research performance monitoring)

Social Contribution (stakeholder engagement and societal impact)

Management System (strategic planning, performance indicators, data-driven decision-making)
The Committee is responsible for preparing periodic Program Self-Evaluation Reports, monitoring key performance indicators, conducting internal assessments based on YÖKAK rubrics, and coordinating improvement plans in accordance with the Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA) cycle. It also ensures compliance with national higher education legislation and supports institutional accreditation processes.
