Update on Accepted Exam Types for Applications

According to the Senate decision dated April 2, 2026, the exam and score types used for international student admissions at Pamukkale University have been updated as follows:

The relevant directive will enter into force after it is approved by YÖK (Council of Higher Education).

Exams and Scores Subject to Application

ARTICLE 11-

  1. General Applicants: All candidates, excluding those covered under ARTICLE 9-(1)(d) (Northern Cyprus), may only apply using TR-YÖS or SAT results.
    • Minimum Requirements:
      • TR-YÖS: At least 200 points.
      • SAT: A total of at least 1100 (Math + Reading & Writing), with a minimum of 600 in the Math section.
    • Medicine and Dentistry Programs:
      • TR-YÖS: At least 400 points.
      • SAT: A total of at least 1200 (Math + Reading & Writing), with a minimum of 700 in the Math section.
    • Notes: The maximum score for the SAT is 1600. Both exams are valid for two years.
  2. Northern Cyprus Applicants: Candidates applying under the scope of ARTICLE 9-(1)(d) may only apply using GCE AL (General Certificate of Education Advanced Level) results.
    • Requirement: These candidates must have at least a Grade B in three subjects on the GCE AL exam.
