TERMS & CONDITIONS

Scholars conducting research in the following fields can apply to the symposium: World Languages and Literatures (Eastern Languages and Literatures, Western Languages and Literatures, Slavic Languages and Literatures), Linguistics, Translation Studies, Comparative Literature, Ancient Languages and Cultures, Turkish Languages and Literatures, and Foreign/Second Language Education.

1. Abstracts must be sent in Turkish or English. The oral presentations will be either in Turkish or English, in line with the researcher's preference.

2-The abstracts must be 300-500 words and written in MS Word Program, Times New Roman font 12.

3- A minimum of three and a maximum of five keywords must be added.

4- The abstracts must have in order the title of the paper, full names of the author(s) (academic title should not be included) and affiliations.

5-The abstracts can be submitted either as an empirical research study or a theoretical/review article.

6- The abstract should not include pictures, tables or references. The purpose, method and, if any, findings of the research, should be included.

7- Each researcher is allowed to submit a maximum two papers. 

8- If a paper is not presented at the symposium, a certificate of attendance is not given.

9- A book of abstracts will be published for the papers to be presented at the symposium.

10- The deadlines specified on the web page of the symposium are essential in submitting abstracts.

The symposium is free of charge.
