DEPARTMENT OF INTERNATIONAL TRADE AND LOGISTICS
The Aim
Although foreign trade and logistics are separate fields, they are closely interconnected. Today, engaging in foreign trade is only feasible within the scope of modern logistics activities. Therefore, individuals who specialize in foreign trade must also possess knowledge of logistics. This makes it highly advantageous for students to include foreign trade and logistics in our department. The aim of the Foreign Trade and Logistics Department is to train experts who are well-versed in modern foreign trade and logistics sciences and practices. Thanks to the diverse elective courses in the department's curriculum, students can choose to focus on one of the two areas if they prefer. Alternatively, students can take an appropriate number of courses from both areas, giving equal weight to each discipline.
Our department offers an optional preparatory program in a foreign language. In the first year, most of our courses follow a shared curriculum. Starting in the second year, each department emphasizes both theoretical and practical courses in its specific field. Professional internships help apply the theoretical knowledge gained.
Mission
To develop skilled, analytical, and synthesizing individuals who can communicate in foreign languages, have a broad vision, and are capable of working both nationally and internationally, while being application-oriented to meet the needs of the public and private sectors.
Vision
To expand education, research, and practical work in interconnected disciplines such as International Trade and Logistics, and to deepen knowledge.
Title to be awarded to program graduates
Graduates of the International Trade and Logistics Program are eligible to receive a Bachelor's Degree. The diploma will specify "Completed the Bachelor's Degree in International Trade and Logistics."
Employment Opportunities
Today, in the midst of intense economic globalization, no private or public company remains unaffected by international trade and logistics. As a result, career opportunities for graduates of the International Trade and Logistics Department are remarkably diverse. While our graduates can find positions in the foreign trade, finance, and logistics departments of various companies, they also have promising prospects and respected professional roles, especially in import and export firms and the rapidly expanding logistics sector. Since the four-year International Trade and Logistics program is equivalent to other higher education institutions offering degrees in economics, international trade, finance, banking, and logistics, our graduates have the chance to pursue all the careers and specializations available to graduates of those fields.
