The Faculty of Applied Sciences was founded as a vocational school in 2011 under Article 7/d-2 of Law No. 2547. It was transformed into a faculty by a Presidential Decree published in the Official Gazette on June 29, 2021. The faculty began operations in the fall semester of the 2013-2014 academic year by admitting students to the Organic Farming Management and Capital Markets programs. During the 2014-2015 academic year, it continued its programs by accepting students into the Capital Markets (Second Education) and International Trade and Logistics departments. In the fall semester of the 2015-2016 academic year, it kept admitting students to the Organic Farming Management and International Trade and Logistics (Second Education) departments.

In the fall semester of the 2016-2017 academic year, our faculty moved into its newly completed service building and continued its educational activities.
