History

The Department of Tourism Guidance commenced its educational activities under the title "Travel Management and Tourism Guidance," coinciding with the establishment of the School of Tourism and Hotel Management in 2007. Following the restructuring of the School into a Faculty in 2013, the department was renamed the "Department of Tourism Guidance" and admitted its inaugural cohort of undergraduate students in the 2015-2016 academic year. Furthermore, graduate education is actively conducted through a master's program with thesis within the Department of Tourism Guidance under the administration of the Institute of Social Sciences.
