Laboratory Animal Use Certification (Category A) Program
(Rat – Mouse – Rabbit – Guinea Pig)

Course Content:
The program has been prepared based on the “Circular on the Training Program for Laboratory Animal Use Certification” (No: 2019/03, dated 02.04.2019) issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks.

Course Duration:
A total of 75 hours, including 40 hours of theoretical lessons (live online) and 35 hours of practical lessons (face-to-face).

Total Quota:
30 Participants

Species Covered by the Certificate:
Mouse, Rat, Rabbit, and Guinea Pig

Assessment Criteria:
The final exam consists of two parts: theoretical and practical. Attendance of at least 80% is mandatory for each lesson. Participants must achieve a minimum score of 70 out of 100 in each exam to pass. Participants who fail any part of the exam may retake the program. Participants who meet the attendance and success requirements and are registered in accordance with the relevant regulations will be awarded the Laboratory Animal Use Certification.
