Who is an Occupational Safety Specialist?

An Occupational Safety Specialist is a technical staff member authorized by the Ministry to work in the field of occupational health and safety. They hold an occupational safety specialist certificate and may include inspectors overseeing working life in the Ministry and related institutions, as well as graduates of engineering or architecture faculties.


How to Become an Occupational Safety Specialist?

To become an Occupational Safety Specialist, you must:

  1. Graduate from a higher education institution that meets the Ministry’s graduation requirements.

  2. Complete a training program provided by a Ministry-authorized institution.

  3. Successfully pass the exam conducted by the Ministry.


Who Can Attend Occupational Safety Training?

The following individuals are eligible to participate in the Occupational Safety Specialist Training:

  • Graduates of Engineering and Architecture Faculties

  • Graduates of Physics, Chemistry, or Biology departments of Science and Literature Faculties

  • Technical teachers

  • Graduates of associate degree programs in occupational health and safety


Course Program

  1. 15 Days Online Training: 9 hours synchronous (live classes on weekdays, 17:00–21:00), 81 hours asynchronous

  2. 15 Days Face-to-Face Training: Weekdays 15:00–21:00, Weekends 10:00–16:00


Scope of Training

The program consists of a total of 220 hours, including:

  • 90 hours face-to-face

  • 90 hours online

  • 40 hours practical application
