History
Pamukkale Üniversitesi Faculty of Technology was established by the Council of Ministers Decision dated November 2, 2009 and numbered 2009/15546, with the aim of strengthening practice-oriented engineering education in higher education.
Within the scope of this academic structuring process, the Department of Automotive Engineering was founded in 2011 and commenced its undergraduate and graduate programs in the 2013–2014 academic year.
Since its establishment, the department has systematically developed its academic capacity and infrastructure in line with a practice-oriented engineering approach, strong industry integration, and adaptation to continuously evolving technologies.
