40th INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC FINANCE CONFERENCE CALL FOR PAPERS

  

Dear Scientists,

As the Department of Public Finance at Pamukkale University in Denizli, home to Pamukkale, the pearl of the Aegean region and a UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the 'White Paradise', we are thrilled to organize the 40th International Public Finance Conference, building on our experience of having previously hosted the 20th conference. This long-standing scientific event will take place at the SELECTUM FAMILY RESORT BELEK hotel in Antalya-Belek between October 22-25, 2026.

The main theme of the conference is “The Reflections of Global Uncertainties and Opportunities on Public Finance” and the conference abstracts cover all other topics in the field of finance. Conference abstracts will be presented in five group sessions: Public Finance Theory, Fiscal Law, Fiscal Economics, Budget and Fiscal Planning, and Young Public Finance Scholars.

Papers can be presented in Turkish or English. Structured abstracts of papers proposed for presentation at the conference must be submitted for review by June 1, 2026, to the email address 40.maliyesempozyumu@gmail.com. The full texts of the papers presented at the conference will be published on our website as an E-Proceedings Book with an ISBN number. After the conference, interested academics can further develop their papers for consideration in one of the following publications:

a) A paper in the International Journal of Public Finance – IJPF, which is indexed in the TR Index and international field indexes,

b) A chapter in a Turkish-edited book published by a well-known national/international publishing house and bearing an ISBN number.

c) A chapter in a English-edited book published by a well-known national/international publishing house and bearing an ISBN number.
