The Civil Engineering Department, which started education and training together with the Mechanical Engineering Department in 1976 as the first department of the Engineering Faculty; Between 1982-1992, Dokuz Eylul University Denizli Engineering Faculty, and since 1992 Pamukkale University Engineering Faculty, continues its education, training, research and applications in the same building with the Geological Engineering Department on the Kınıklı campus of our University.

 

Our students take compulsory and elective courses in order to gain professional knowledge and skills during their undergraduate education and do internships to reinforce the knowledge and skills they have gained during the summer months. In our department, since 1994, graduate and doctorate education has been carried out in addition to undergraduate education. There are five departments in our department: Structure, Hydraulics, Transportation, Geotechnics and Mechanics. In addition to educational activities, projects are carried out within the scope of DPT, TÜBİTAK, BAP and Leonardo da Vinci with 29 Faculty Members, 1 Lecturer, 1 Lecturer and 17 Research Assistants within these departments.

 

In the solution of the problems encountered in our profession in many provinces of the Aegean Region, especially in Denizli, our department, within the scope of Revolving Fund; provides project and consultancy services. In addition, consultancy services are provided in different projects within the scope of PAU TEKNOKENT.
