The Finance, Banking and Insurance Program operating under Pamukkale Üniversitesi within Bekilli Meslek Yüksekokulu commenced its academic activities in the 2011–2012 academic year by admitting students at the associate degree level. The program is a two-year associate degree program consisting of a total of 120 ECTS credits and features a dynamic curriculum that is regularly updated in line with sectoral needs. As of the 2025–2026 academic year, the program has adopted the 3+1 education model. Within this model, students complete three semesters of theoretical and practical coursework and one semester of workplace-based professional training. This structure enables students to reinforce their academic knowledge in real business environments and gain hands-on industry experience. The language of instruction is Turkish. Course content is designed to provide both theoretical background and practical competencies in areas such as banking operations, insurance practices, financial analysis, risk management, and customer relations. The program aims to educate qualified intermediate staff who are capable of planning, implementing, and managing banking and insurance activities, possess analytical thinking skills, adhere to ethical principles, and meet the expectations of the sector. Graduates enter professional life equipped to pursue careers in public and private sector banks, insurance companies, and financial institutions. Students acquire knowledge and skills in analyzing and managing financial processes, effectively planning and executing banking and insurance transactions, professionally handling customer relations, and conducting risk assessments. In addition, the program aims to cultivate individuals who are knowledgeable about financial legislation, committed to ethical standards, and capable of solution-oriented work. Graduates may be employed as qualified intermediate professionals in public and private banks, participation banks, insurance and reinsurance companies, financial institutions, brokerage firms, and similar financial organizations. In these roles, they contribute to the efficient, reliable, and sustainable management of institutional financial operations.
