The event organized in Bekilli to raise environmental awareness and leave a greener world for future generations was attended by Bekilli District Governor Ferdi Akgün and his wife Neslihan Akgün, Bekilli Mayor Önder Demir, Bekilli Vocational School Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Gökburun, heads of institutions, public employees, academics, and students.

Participants planted saplings in the designated area, giving breath to nature. Officials speaking at the event emphasized that afforestation efforts are important not only for the environment but also for future generations.

The event, carried out under the slogan "Today a Sapling, Tomorrow a Breath", aimed to spread environmental protection awareness across all segments of society and strengthen the love for trees.
