Our Mission:

The Altay Communities Language and Cultures Application and Research Center is a scientific center that provides opportunities for communication, research, and project development based on Turkology and Altaistics research with other nations with whom the Turkish language interacts internationally, in addition to studies related to Turkey and the Turkic World. In this way, it is intended to assist and guide all departments and units related to Turkology, from the local to the national and from the national to the international level, in terms of cooperation.

The activities of our center include the following:

*To contribute to our university’s efforts to establish and strengthen relationships with universities and academic institutions in these countries by evaluating the historical and ongoing connections between Turkey and the Turkish language and the Altaic communities, encompassing the entire field of Turkology.

*To develop relations with universities in Altay communities, the Turkic Republics and communities which are a part of it, and other countries where Turks live.

*To conduct studies aimed at student and faculty exchange through academic programs.

* To share information.

* To organize and participate in joint social, cultural, scientific, and sporting events.

* To collaborate with organizations both in Turkey and abroad that share similar objectives; to conduct joint research, studies and practical projects; to participate in such initiatives; to support them; and to organize joint meetings to facilitate the exchange and sharing of information.

* To prepare various short- and long-term strategic plans, to develop projects on all matters concerning the Altaic communities, and to collaborate with relevant institutions and organisations to ensure their implementation.

*To carry out research, compilation, publication, conferences, panels and symposia/knowledge festivals at both national and international levels, with the aim of gaining a deeper understanding of and promoting the Altaic communities and the Turkic language, dialects, history, literature and culture, which hold a significant place within Altaic communities.

* To publish all scientific activities undertaken as publications of our center.
