NIHAT ZEYBEKCI CONGRESS AND CULTURE CENTRE
Nihat Zeybekci Congress and Culture Centre, one of the greatest projects presented by Denizli Metropolitan Municipality was inaugurated in March 2019 and has an indoor area of 83,000 sq.m. in a lot of 25,000 sq.m.
At our Congress Centre there are halls of various sizes and capacities: The Özay Gönlüm Hall with a capacity of 2000 pax and equipped with electro-acoustic systems is suitable for concerts and conferences, has an orchestra pit and eight-partitioned platforms of 16x6 m with lift system; Mehmet Gazi Hall with a capacity of 1000 pax has an orchestra pit and is suitable for musical performances with acoustics instruments such as recitals, symphonic and philharmonic concerts; Fatma Yıldız Theatre Hall with a capacity of 500 pax has a rotating stage 6 m in diameter and houses the theatrical performances of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality City Theatre.
The Congress Centre also houses seven meeting halls with a capacity ranging from 66 to 240 pax, five wedding halls, various dance halls and music classrooms with sound insulation for rehearsals, meeting rooms, a restaurant with a capacity of 500 pax that may serve various purposes, and two cafeterias which have not come into function yet. Furthermore, there are additional spaces to serve these main halls such as rehearsal rooms, VIP halls, performer rooms, wet rooms to be used for catering services, costume rooms and décor workshops. The grandiose glass roofing over the foyers of the three great halls has an area of 5000 sq.m. and was built with triangular glass pieces of various sizes. Creating a magnificent ambience this glass roofing is the first of all in Türkiye with regards to its construction technique and size.
The Congress Centre is equipped with eight escalators, 18 lifts and indoor parking area. The halls for various purposes supported with acoustic, mechanical and fire experts are designed as per regulations. The Centre is designed to bring together people of all age groups and serve the needs of Denizli for long years to come.
