42nd International Symposium on Excavations, Surveys and Archaeometry
International Symposium on Excavations, Surveys and Archaeometry, which has been held annually since 1970s, has been halted for two years due to the Covid 19 pandemic. It will be resumed this year and held at Nihat Zeybekci Congress and Culture Centre in Denizli on May 23 through 27, 2022, with the collaboration of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism General Directorate of Cultural Heritage and Museums, Pamukkale University and Denizli Metropolitan Municipality. Numerous Turkish and non-Turkish scholars will share the results obtained from their archaeological excavations, restoration-conservation works, archaeological surveys as well as anthropological and archaeometric studies at five halls during the five days of the Symposium.

Venue: Nihat Zeybekci Congress and Culture Centre in Denizli
An excursion to the ancient cities of Laodikeia, Hierapolis and Tripolis is planned for 28 May 2022 Saturday.
