The Faculty of Agriculture established in Çivril started its education life in the 2023-2024 academic year by admitting students. Çivril is a beautiful district located in a large, beautiful plain. Çivril is the largest district of Denizli province. Çivril has a very important position in terms of culture, history and agriculture. It is also located at the crossroads of Afyon, Uşak, Denizli and the Mediterranean. In the plain, fruit growing, field crops and animal husbandry, especially cattle and small ruminants, are carried out seriously. As the Faculty of Agriculture, we will contribute to both our students who prefer us and the agriculture of our region with the Application Based Education (UTE) model. In the surrounding districts such as Çal and Bekilli, grape cultivation is at a very high level. We, as the Faculty of Agriculture, will support these agricultural activities. In the Çivril campus, there are areas where our students can do sports activities. There are sports fields such as basketball courts, volleyball, and football. There is also a swimming pool belonging to the metropolitan municipality in Çivril. Students will be able to meet their sports needs here, and there are places where they can trek on weekends. There are also bicycle tours and lanes. Işıklı Lake, 10-12 km away from our faculty, offers places where water lily gardens and fields are located in May and June. Many tourists from home and abroad come here and visit the water lily fields by participating in tours on Işıklı Lake. In Çivril, minibuses depart for Denizli every 20 minutes. Students can reach Denizli, the main campus, whenever they want. They can benefit from the libraries and other cultural areas here. There are places in Çivril where students can spend 24 hours. The university culture is well established in Çivril. Apartment flats, restaurants, cafeterias and sports areas where students can spend their time have been beautifully built and offered to our students.
