The Department of Management and Organization commenced its educational activities in 2003 with the Business Management Program. In 2009, the Logistics Program was introduced within the Management and Organization Department, marking the initiation of student admissions. Both the Business Management and Logistics Programs have been consistently conducting educational activities since their establishment. The department currently has eight faculty members, and additional support for education and teaching is sought from various departments based on the required areas of expertise.

The academic staff of the department envisions academic progress, tracking new developments in theoretical and industrial aspects, and engaging in the sharing and enhancement of technological advancements with stakeholders. Faculty members in the department engage in both theoretical research and project collaboration with industries. In this context, the department serves as a university unit contributing to university-industry cooperation.

Moreover, the Department of Management and Organization places significant emphasis on international academic and industrial relationships. Opportunities based on specific international agreements are available for both faculty members and students. Agreements have been established with universities in Italy, Slovenia, and the Czech Republic, allowing students with sufficient proficiency in foreign languages, through the ERASMUS Program, to complete one or two semesters of their education in vocational schools in European Union member countries. The department provides Erasmus grants for students to conduct their education periods in Italy, Slovenia, and the Czech Republic, as listed below.
