Pamukkale University Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (formerly the Faculty of Science and Letters) Department of Sociology has been actively operating since the 2000-2001 academic year, when we first admitted our students. Established under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Gönül İçli and Prof. Dr. Hasan Tüzen, our department awarded its first graduate degree in 2005. Since then, both undergraduate and graduate education and training have continued uninterrupted.
