The protocol signed between the Higher Education Council and the Ministry of Health on September 10, 1992, led to the commencement of the Midwifery program and its educational activities within the Pamukkale University Health Services Vocational School in the Ulu Çarşı building during the 1993-1994 academic year. In the 1996-1997 academic year, the Medical Laboratory Program was opened, followed by the Ambulance and Emergency Care Technician, Anesthesia Technician, and Medical Documentation and Support Programs with additional student quotas in the 1998-1999 academic year. The Dialysis, Hydrotherapy, and Physical Therapy Programs were opened in the 2008-2009 academic year, and the Child Development Program in 2009-2010. In 2010, the name of the Ambulance and Emergency Care Technician program was changed to First Aid and Emergency Care, and the name of the Medical Laboratory program was changed to Medical Laboratory Techniques. The Hydrotherapy and Physical Therapy programs were merged under the name Physiotherapy program. Whether all programs are at the 2-year Associate Degree level is a matter of debate. Our school trains professional intermediate personnel with the title of technician. Our school has a multidisciplinary laboratory, a technical room, and a computer lab.
