Our department trains qualified personnel who are responsible for the supervision of prisoners and convicts in Penal Institutions and children who have been dragged into crime housed in Juvenile Correctional Institutions, as well as following the supervision and monitoring of people evaluated within the scope of Probation Directorates. The department, which provides two-year education, aims to develop students' physical and cultural capacities, to make them competent in the fields of justice and professional ethics, and to teach them how to use the knowledge they have acquired in practice. In this context, there is a mandatory internship application in summer semesters. The Department of Penal Enforcement and Security Services, job opportunities cover the public and private sectors. As a public institution, the Ministry of Justice includes Prisons and Probation Directorates affiliated to the General Directorate of Penal Detention Houses. There are opportunities to work as unarmed security personnel in Private Security Companies in the private sector.
