The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering began offering a Master's Degree Program in the 1994-1995 academic year and started offering an undergraduate program in the 1995-1996 academic year. The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, which graduated its first students in 1999, admits around 120 students at the beginning of each academic year. Since the 2008-2009 academic year, our students have been able to attend a one-year foreign language preparatory class if they wish. The Doctoral Program of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department within the Institute of Science also began in the 2008-2009 academic year.
The aim of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department is :
(EEM1) To contribute to the community in which it operates by effectively utilizing knowledge and technology in line with universal values, conducting education and training, research and development, and application activities,
(EEM2) To train electrical and electronic engineers who are respectful of fundamental human and professional ethical values, competent, innovative, entrepreneurial, and capable of lifelong learning
