In accordance with the protocol signed between the Council of Higher Education and the Ministry of Health on September 10, 1992, the Midwifery program was opened within the Pamukkale University Health Services Vocational School in the Ulu Çarşı building during the 1993-1994 academic year, and educational activities commenced. The Medical Laboratory Program was opened in the 1996-1997 academic year, and in the 1998-1999 academic year, with additional student quotas, the Ambulance and Emergency Care Technician, Anesthesia Technician, and Medical Documentation and Secretarial programs were opened. The Dialysis, Hydrotherapy, and Physical Therapy programs were opened in the 2008-2009 academic year, and the Child Development Program was opened in the 2009-2010 academic year. In 2010, the name of the Ambulance and Emergency Care Technician program was changed to First Aid and Emergency Care, and in 2009, the name of the Medical Laboratory program was changed to Medical Laboratory Techniques. The Hydrotherapy and Physical Therapy programs were merged under the name Physiotherapy program. All programs are 2-year Associate Degree programs. Our school trains professional intermediate personnel with the title of technician. Our school has a multidisciplinary laboratory, a technical room, and a computer lab.
