The Preservation and Publicity Project for the Ancient City of Tripolis was prepared jointly by the Denizli Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism and Tripolis Excavations Direction and supported by the Development Agency for Southern Aegean; thus, the preservation area was fenced off for a length of about 6000 m with the approval no. 1980 dated 21 August 2013 of the Aydın Regional Board for the Preservation of Cultural Properties; four iron gates were installed for access where necessary (Fig. 1 and Fig. 2).
In addition, booklets in Turkish and English were prepared within the frame of the abovementioned project to inform the guests correctly about the monuments.
As the city spreads over a wide area info boards were prepared to put up in front of the monuments uncovered and signposts to direct the visitors; these were designed in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry. The boards will be put up before the deadline of the project on 31 May 2015.
