Restoration work at the rooms located on the south side of the Colonnaded Street was completed to a great extent in 2012. Based on the recycling principle the earth excavated out was sieved for the restoration work. However, it was noted that the mortars used had deteriorated due to the elements in time.

In the course of 2013 campaign, mortars were renewed using sieved excavated earth and where necessary missing parts were completed using creek stones and mud mortar as per original structure (Fig. 1).
