Semih Kambur, a thesis-based master’s student in the Painting Education Division of the Department of Fine Arts Education under the Institute of Educational Sciences at Pamukkale University, and a 2025 graduate of the Painting Education Division of the Department of Fine Arts Education at the Faculty of Education, Pamukkale University, was selected as one of the eight finalists in the National Animation – Short Artificial Intelligence Film category with his animation work.
Approximately 1,400 works from 100 countries were submitted to the competition organized within the framework of the International Turkey Artificial Intelligence Film Festival (T-AIFF II), hosted by Marmara University and held between 9–11 December 2025. The productions were evaluated in four main categories: international fiction, international animation, national fiction, and national animation.
Semih Kambur’s animation was selected as a finalist in the national animation category and was screened as part of the festival program. The festival, which focuses on artificial intelligence–based cinematic production processes, positions itself as an international platform addressing the relationship between cinema and artificial intelligence within an interdisciplinary context.
The screenings and special selections within the scope of the festival concluded with the award ceremony held on 11 December 2025.
