Prospective Student

With intense effort, you have come to the end of a difficult training period and exam marathon. You are now entering a new process for your university education, where you will have a profession that will shape your future. First of all, I would like to congratulate you for your efforts and hard work.

Our University, which has undertaken the mission of 'University is the Guide of Life', continues its efforts to raise young minds with the 21st century skills needed in the development of our country, respectful to human rights and freedoms, and having high national and moral values, using up-to-date information and technology in the light of universal values with the experience of leaving behind a quarter of a century.

Pamukkale University students who have gained knowledge under the leadership of their highly qualified academic staff; transform them into projects beneficial to humanity, nature, science, industry and technology. While preparing our young people for their professional lives, we continue to transform up-to-date information into a final product beneficial to society, with the awareness of our other responsibilities. We continue to be the guide to life in different areas, from science to technology, from culture to art, through inter-institutional collaborations. In addition to university-city collaborations with other public institutions and organizations, non-governmental organizations and professional chambers; we carry out 951 agreements with 305 universities from 53 different countries from abroad, and various exchange programs and cooperation agreements with 97 different universities in Turkey. Our faculty members, administrative staff and students, who have the opportunity to study or work in different countries and cities within the scope of exchange programs, have the opportunity to both get to know the cultures of the countries and cities they visit and to introduce their own cultures.

Established in 1992, our university continues its activities with 19 faculties, 17 vocational schools, 1 higher school, 6 graduate schools and 45 research centers. In Kinikli Central Campus, our students will be able to use their time productively outside of the classroom; in the library open to the service of students 24 hours a day, 7 days a week titled Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Library, Pamukkale University Sports Complex where indoor olympic swimming pool, fitness, tennis court, tartan track and basketball fields are located; the culture center hosting scientific and artistic events such as symposiums, panels, workshops, concerts, and exhibitions titled Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Yılmaz Congress and Culture Center and Hasan Kasapoğlu Cultural Center, which hosts the plays of the State Theaters and hosts various cultural activities, are among the social venues of our University.

In line with the goal of rising above the level of contemporary civilizations demonstrated by our Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the 'strong Turkey' of the future We are proud of being a university that is constantly developing and works for the benefit of firstly its region, then its province, then its country and all humanity with the research carried out.  We hope that you will be a member of our family, as rational, scientific, open to development, innovative, quality-conscious and socially responsible PAU students, on this path we advance with the aim of being a world university that guides the transformation of our age with the developments in science and technology; and I believe that our university will gain even more value with you.

Located in the heart of the Aegean Region with easy access from every region of Turkey, and being one of the important export cities of our country, Denizli is one of the attraction centers of our country with its agriculture, history, culture and natural beauties besides its strong industry serving in different sectors. Pamukkale University, which takes its power from Denizli, a city integrated with its university, continues to contribute to the change and development of the city with the tastes, ideas and dynamism of our youth.
