The SGA Turkey Student Chapter was established in 2017 by undergraduated, graduated, master and PhD students from Pamukkale University (www.pau.edu.tr), Istanbul University (www.istanbul.edu.tr), Istanbul Technical University (www.itu.edu.tr), Osmangazi University (www.ogu.edu.tr) and Karadeniz Technical University (www.ktu.edu.tr).
We are interested in the economic geology, the mineral deposits and the mineralogy as well as further economic application of geologic research. We are affiliated with The Society for Geology Applied to Mineral Deposits (SGA) and provide a network for collaboration, discussion and both academic and professional career development.
